How we help programs in the community (food banks, hospitals, shelters) children with disabilities, in house cooking classes (taste new menu items and learn to cook) At Kiddie Chef, we provide more than just hot lunches. One of our main initiatives is to give back to the community. We have many programs with local food banks,shelters, schools and hospitals to provide fresh food for those in need. Our kitchen also offers work experience for children with disabilities where they can learn how to cook during our in-house cooking classes and taste-test each meal to see which ones they like the best.

School Snack Program

Kiddie Chef Office Snack Basket Fruits & Snacks for Students – how we will be donating fresh fruits and snacks to schools we service for students in need. Every school that enrolls in the hot lunch program at Kiddie Chef, will be provided with a Kiddie Chef Fruit and Snack Basket. This basket will be filled with fruits and snacks and is intended to assist students in need. Every school that enrolls in the Kiddie Chef lunch program will automatically enter our school snack program. This program is dedicated to donating fresh fruits and snacks for students to enjoy. Kiddie Chef is dedicated to the health and well-being of all children across the GTA and we want to ensure they always have a healthy meal at lunch and snacks to keep their energy up throughout the day.

Program Initiatives

“No Hungry Child” (N.H.C) Food Donation Program: Low Income Families, donations, food banks. – Make sure students and children have something to eat, have a lobbyist to see if we can get a grant to provide money to feed students. Section not to be added on website! Our No Hungry Child Food Donation Program is dedicated to providing food for hungry children and families. Kiddie Chef is committed to doing their part to help fight hunger in our communities. We donate all surplus meals and food items from our kitchen to feed those in need. We have partnered with our suppliers who will be providing food items for donation to assist with feeding hungry children. We will also be working with various charitable organizations, community organizations and food banks to feed families in need.

Student Mental Health Program Initiative

Food to help Mental Health – Educational initiative, how food helps their mental health and well-being, support initiative. A good meal doesn’t just satisfy hunger, it also satisfies the mind. The Student Mental Health Program Initiative at Kiddie Chef supports and educates children about how healthy food helps nourish their body, brain and overall mental health and well being.

Back-Pack Program

At the start of each school year, we will be providing schools with back-packs filled with materials to assist in students' learning, that will be provided to children from low income families

Student Sponsorship Programs

Donate money back to high academic students with needs. Kiddie Chef offers Student Sponsorship Programs for high academic students with financial needs. Some of the proceeds from each lunch sold will go back to these students so they can comfortably further their education.
